Spare Change (おかねがないんです…, I don't have money...) is the 5th event match of the 51 event matches in Super Smash Bros. Melee. As Ness, the player has 80 seconds to win a Coin Battle against a CPU Captain Falcon by collecting 200 coins. The match takes place on the Onett stage. Much like standard coin battles, both players have infinite stocks and lose half of their coins if they are KO'd.

- This is one of only four events in Melee where the player has infinite stocks. The others are Event 13: Yoshi's Egg, Event 31: Mario Bros. Madness, and Event 32: Target Acquired.
