Lapras is a dual-type Water/Ice-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It does not evolve into or from any other Pokémon.

Lapras is capable of carrying trainers across water, which has been depicted in the Pokémon games and anime. In Pokémon X and Y, it is the only Pokémon with a unique appearance while travelling across water with Surf. In Pokémon Sun and Moon, it is a Ride Pokémon with the same role.

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Lapras appears as a spirit in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
