Greninja (ゲッコウガ, Gekkōga) is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It was confirmed on June 12th, 2018.

Aesthetics
As with most fighters, Greninja's appearance looks more vibrant and his attacks have enhanced particle effects.
Attributes
- Shadow Sneak has a new animation when used. The attacking part of the move is a forward kick instead. Additionally, the shadow's "eyes" flash when Greninja teleports.
Water Shuriken is much smaller when fully charged.- Substitute has more vibrant particles when activated.
