Pokémon Trainer is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It was confirmed as playable on June 12th, 2018.
Changes from Super Smash Bros. Brawl
The Stamina mechanic is gone, and every Pokémon can stay out indefinitely now.
Pokémon Change can now be used in the air, and is much quicker.
Squirtle appears to have a new dash animation that involves riding a water wave.
Charizard's side special, Rock Smash, has been replaced with Flare Blitz., as in Super Smash Bros. 4
