:I had a small feeling that that's what it was about. I'll say what I was going to say before I looked at our own page and changed my response: we're not MarioWiki, or Wikipedia, or any other wiki - we make page names based on official ''Smash'' things (with [[SW:OFFICIAL|some unofficial lingo from time to time]]). If this were any other page, I would say a flat out no to this, but given how the trophy for ''Smash 4'' does refer to it as a "Big Goomba" instead of a "Giant Goomba", I'm willing to let this one slide. Merge

Does this seriously need its own page? Most of the page is just repeating what's said on Goomba, plus "it's bigger and more resilient". Why can't we just say on Goomba's page "It has a larger variant which is more resilient and can be found in (levels)"? ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Oppose; it is identified as a separate enemy by the SSE HUD and its trophies. Merits its own page (albeit barely). Miles (talk) 20:07, 12 January 2016 (EST)
Oppose per Miles. Disaster Flare Disaster Flare signature image.png (talk) 20:10, 12 January 2016 (EST)
Ehhh that doesn't really seem like good logic. First of all, trophies also make a difference between Daisy and Baseball Daisy, but those are merged despite also having different roles. And more relevantly, Green and Red Koopas. And also, the SSB4 trophy specifically says "It's a Goomba, but bigger", making it clear there isn't really much of a difference, and the Brawl trophy has to mention a completely unrelated creature in order to barely reach the length of a typical trophy. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Oppose, as they're identified as separate entities in both the Smash and Mario series. -Menshay (talk) 09:50, 13 January 2016 (EST)

sorry, but i oppose Nintendofan1653 (talk) the true north strong and free 12:05, 13 January 2016 (EST)

I'd also like to point out that Green and Red Koopas having the same page leads to something else: Koopa Paratroopa has its own page, something, I think, that is closer to this situation here, as Paratroopas are functionally different from Koopas, as Goombas are functionally different from Giant Goombas. Except, as this page makes clear, they aren't. The only difference is that it takes an extra hit or two to kill a Giant Goomba, just like the only difference between Green and Red Koopas is that one walks off ledges. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Primids and Big Primids have separate pages, and there's never been any debate there, so... Toomai Glittershine ??? The Pan-Galactic 15:06, 13 January 2016 (EST)

I didn't see a point in starting a discussion on both. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe DatNuttyKid. 15:08, 13 January 2016 (EST)

Big Goomba

It's new name is big goomba.can we move it to big goomba???? Larry Koopa (talk) 08:47, 18 October 2017 (EDT)

Where's your proof? Keep in mind that we have to go with whatever name the character has at the time of the last Smash game's release. Black Vulpine of the Furry Nation. Furries make the Internets go! :3 09:01, 18 October 2017 (EDT)
I mean, the wiki itself is proof enough, no? Aidan, the Spooky Rurouni 09:30, 18 October 2017 (EDT)
