Palkia is a massive, complexly-built bipedal dragon-like entity with wings that can open up. In Sinnoh-region lore provided in part by the Pokédex, it was said to be created by Arceus along with [[Dialga]], at which time space began to take form and matter began to take shape. It is also said that space becomes more stable with Palkia's every breath. Palkia represents spatial dimensions whereas Dialga represents time.
 
Its signature move is Spacial Rend. It can only be found in Pokemon Pearl version, which is a part of the fourth-generation Pokémon games. It is part of the Legendary Dragon trio, along with Dialga and Giratina.
