*Darkest Lariat's properties bear a major resemblance to—and are likely directly inspired by—the Double Lariat, an attack originated by {{s|wikipedia|Mike Haggar}} from the ''{{s|wikipedia|Final Fight}}'' series. However, the move has been adopted and is arguably more commonly associated with {{s|wikipedia|Zangief}} from the {{uv|Street Fighter}} series.
