The Mysterious Murasame Castle (謎の村雨城, The Mysterious Murasame Castle) is an action-adventure game set in feudal Japan, initially released for the Famicom Disk System.
Franchise description[edit]
The Mysterious Murasame Castle was a Japan-only release for the Family Computer Disk System, a disk-based expansion console exclusive to the Japanese Famicom. It was one of the system's early titles, and its second original title after The Legend of Zelda. However, in 2014, over 28 years after its release, the original game was re-released worldwide through Virtual Console on the Nintendo 3DS, and again on the Nintendo Switch Online service in 2023.
