Alternatively copying here: Though I'd like to note that this could change rapidly at least for the US (but also others probably) due to there being a whole bunch of huge tournaments all in a row this year (year of 64 it is)

From uhh closest to furthest away, in terms of a general short order, wario/Jousuke, Boom, Fukuruou (though he has never come the US, the fact that he has stayed even/almost won vs. wario is shocking and scary,) KeroKeroppi, Isai, wangera. I guess. The Genesis 3 results really shows who was playing well though some matchups were much better for certain people (like LD or someone always struggling vs. certain people.

USA: KeroKeroppi (Pikachu, Falcon,) Tacos (Yoshi, Kirby,) LD (Fox,) Wizzrobe (Yoshi,) Fireblaster (Yoshi, Mario,) and Isai (IDK, lol) somewhere in there. KeroKeroppi is the definite best in the USA, at least if Isai keeps on being rusty though Kero might just plain be better than Isai as well otherwise. Tacos is the most likely 3rd. If LD didn't john/practiced enough, I would put him above Wizzy.

Canada: SuperBoomFan (Falcon/Pika/random) The Z (Pikachu, Fox, Falcon,) Revan (Kirby,) YBOMBB (Jiggles,) (that order, period, shoutouts to The Z for going from ridiculously technical to just plain amazing)

Mexico: Mariguas (Pikachu, Falcon) Dexter (Pikachu)/Jaime-HR (Falcon, Pika, Kirby, Samus) (unsure of order, I'd say probably this one as per the most recent results)

Japan: wario (Pikachu)/Jousuke (Samus, everyone,), Fukurou (Kirby,) Moyashi (Kirby,) wangera (Jigglypuff. The rest outside of this are somewhat unknown and somewhat variant due to their single elim events though I usually see some combination of MEGU (Pika,) Bonobono (Yoshi,) MAHA (Pikachu,) and an occasional Ruoka Dancho (Falcon/)Sekerei (Link.) Overall, Japan is slightly stronger than North America with by far the best Kirby mains in the world (sorry Revan,) though they probably overall have worse Pikachus outside of wario and worse Falcons.

Brazil: Banze (Pika,) Kort (Link, Falcon, everyone,) Rith (Pikachu, Falcon,) CabeLo (Fox) (in some order after the definitive Banze and Kort)

Peru: Alvin (Falcon, as per Dreamland switch there, Fox) Gerson (Pikachu,) (unsure of otherwise, haven't seen an event recently)

Ranked on SSBMRank

Being ranked on SSBMRank doesn't automatically qualify as being a "notable player" of the character. According to notability guidelines, the player must place highly in tournaments or be nationally recognized as being one of the best players of that character. Half the players on SSBMRank can barely place top 32 at nationals, which isn't high at all for top tiers, and the players I removed certainly aren't known nationally as being the best mains of their character. We're not judging based on how good they are compared to the best players of their character. Think about it, what has a player like DJ Nintendo done compared to a player like Mango, one of the best Foxes in the world who consistently places in the top 5 at majors? The players at the bottom of SSBMRank are still not able to place highly in multiple tournaments or have national recognition for their use of the character as denoted on our notability guidelines. Not necessarily, but for a top tier character such as Fox, top 8 finishes or consistent top 16 placements would probably be expected. You'd also have to be known as one of the best players of the character, which is not true for a player such as DJ Nintendo. Even so, I would definitely not agree with DJ Nintendo being more "known" for being a Samus/Bowser player (he hasn't used either of those characters in forever). Also, even though it's not Top 8 or Top 16, DJ Nintendo has placed Top 32 at 4 of the big major tournament in 2015 (Apex/CEO/EVO/TBH), while some of the players above him have drifted below that point at times. Notable wins

Generally, notable wins should only include a smasher's absolute best wins (as in top players), not every single good player a smasher has beaten. For example, players like Ray Kalm and Dark.Pch are not even remotely comparable to players like Ally or Mew2King. Please try to cut down on wins if you decide to list them on future Smasher pages. 1. There are not "TONS" of Lucario players that are better than him. He's the third-best player in Mexico, a pretty strong region (only behind Leo and Hyuga).

Two months ago is not a significant amount of time. In fact, Kamicario hasn't made any real regional or national waves since Low Tier City 3 (a way longer span of time than Serge's win over Leo). Also, the current Mexican PR is outdated. On the more recent Mexico City PR, Serge is ranked above a few players that were ranked above him on the Mexican PR.
