Why?[edit]

May I ask why did you change links like Zurees into Zurees? It's highly unnecessary, somewhat violates our manual of style, and takes up coding that isn't needed in the article. I suggest you don't do this again, because it'll just be reverted if you do so. Rtzxy Reflect.jpg Reflect! 15:24, 13 December 2014 (EST)

I just tought it was weird how every part of their names except the "s" were blue. I didn't know that was wrong. Thanks for telling me though. At least my edit was more than just this, so it wasn't completely useless. TepigSprite.pngTepig (talk) 16:28, 13 December 2014 (EST)
And, just to show how stupid I am, I just noticed that their entire names are blue, including the "s". *facepalm* TepigSprite.pngTepig (talk) 16:35, 13 December 2014 (EST)
Yes, Zurees and Zurees appear the same; it's just recommended to use the latter option in coding to save space. Rtzxy Reflect.jpg Reflect! 16:37, 13 December 2014 (EST)

A few more things about redirects: you can put just Samus instead of Samus and Masterpiece instead of Masterpiece. You should also italicize the names of games. Rtzxy Reflect.jpg Reflect! 15:27, 16 December 2014 (EST)

Thanks for the tips. As for italicizing game names, I already knew about this. I think I just forgot to do so last time. TepigSprite.pngTepig (talk) 15:57, 16 December 2014 (EST)
OK. By the way, here's some more tips: for3ds gets you Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, while forwiiu gets you Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. Rtzxy Reflect.jpg Reflect! 16:02, 16 December 2014 (EST)

Pokemon Images[edit]

I'm doing the same thing as you, where I am also adding in images to the pokemon articles. The amazing owen (talk) 17:08, 2 February 2016 (EST)

This "job" is REALLY repetitive and tedious, so thanks for the help! TepigSprite.pngTepig (talk) 17:13, 2 February 2016 (EST)

Mind if I help too? I've already added a few myself. --BaconMaster331 BaconMasterSig.png talk 17:32, 2 February 2016 (EST)

Go ahead! The sooner I finish this, the sooner I will be able to start my other "projects", so all help is appreciated! :) TepigSprite.pngTepig (talk) 18:57, 2 February 2016 (EST)

Origin images[edit]

In general, official art is undesirable for origin images. Screenshots that show the subject in action in-game are almost always preferable. Miles (talk) 17:26, 13 February 2016 (EST)

Uh... are you sure? Serpent told me on this page that "All of the stage hazards/enemies should have origin art elsewhere". So I uploaded origin images (or, in other words, official artwork) for all Pokémon that were missing it, and no one said anything about it being "undesirable" at all. I was going to do this for all enemy pages too (well, some don't have official art, but for the ones that do anyways). Plus, Category:Origin images has some official artwork in there as well. In any case, I guess I could leave the image that was previously on the Goomba page in the origin section there and make a gallery with the official art instead. Sounds good? TepigSprite.pngTepig (talk) 17:37, 13 February 2016 (EST)
Quite sure. If the page isn't using Infobox Character General, we shouldn't be using home series official art at all unless there's really nothing else usable for the origin section. Miles (talk) 17:40, 13 February 2016 (EST)
Well, then, if you say so. I'm gonna replace the Bill Blaster image, but I'm not gonna remove the official Pokémon artwork after all the hard work me (and a few other users) went through. Then again these images would probably fall into the "nothing else usable" area. TepigSprite.pngTepig (talk) 17:45, 13 February 2016 (EST)
I said that in the scope of Pokemon only. Screenshots are preferable in almost every case, but I feel that Pokemon can be an exception, given the style of the games. Serpent SKSig.png King 19:19, 13 February 2016 (EST)
