== Completely consolidating the tables ==
So any of y'all who've been watching this page over the past few weeks will have noticed I've been making a cross-game table and have just copied the descriptions into it.
My ultimate plan for all of this is to make it so that this article only ''has'' one table , because there's a lot of repeated information that I think is really unnecessary.
What I'd like your opinion on is how to proceed with the rest of the consolidation. Right now, the only thing that the individual tables have that the cross-game table doesn't are the relative frequencies and whether an AT can be defeated or not. I'm not entirely certain how we could fit this information into the main table, so I'd be willing to listen to every suggestion y'all got. I don't know how many people actually know this, but a good amount of Assist Trophies could actually be attacked in Smash 4.
So we should add the "Defeatable" ascension to the Smash 4 section, as well.
Since there are some that can't be defeated, but can be stunned (Such as Ghirahim and Phosphora), I think there should be a separate ascension called "Attackable".

== Render Rip y/n? ==
Comparing the two renders side by side, they appear to be very similar but with a small couple of changes. Not sure if this is just ingame or just the website having a better quality render. Should we just merge it off as "from Super Smash Bros. 4 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate" or should we push to rip it from the website?

== Hammer Bro Info Sheet ==
I know he is also an enemy, but other enemy assist trophies like Chain Chomp and Lakitu have an info sheet and Ridley and Ganon only have info sheets because Ridley’s playable and Ganon’s A Final Smash, so why not give Hammer Bro a character sheet because he’s an assist trophy? Sin & Punishment[edit]

I heard that the "Sin & Punishment" AT was actually the main character, and a male. I think his name was Saki or something? We need to get proof of this.

Little Mac[edit]

Assist Trophy Tier List[edit]

More of an idea than anything else, but wouldn't an assist trophy tier list be interesting?

Metroid[edit]

Can anyone provide a link to the gameplay video with this assist trophy? M Shark 18:24, November 20, 2007 (EST)

Duster and Princess Rosalina[edit]

Brawl Central says that they've been confirmed.--Aipom--

Infantry and Jill[edit]

These shouldn't need to be considered unconfirmed, although they did not appear on the dojo as of yet. this video clearly shows Samus holding up the assist trophy and the Infantry popping out. Then look at this video and wait until the first plummet the characters take. Jill is definitely there drilling across the screen. You have to see it to believe it. Who ever said that Princess Rosalina, Tails, and Duster ATs were removed from the game? I could see Ridley being on the list as his leftover AT data was found on the game disc. Stafy in Smash 4[edit]

How come Starfy is not listed as Assist Trophy? In Brawl, he was but why not in SSB4? Dragon NJMB (talk) 03:52, 7 February 2014 (EST)

Because it wasn't officially confirmed yet (Sakurai didn't say he was one in the screenshot with him). He is probably an assist trophy again, we just want official confirmation first though before stating it as fact on the Wiki. Also, this question should be in its own section. All-Star Mode[edit]

When Sakurai was introducing the Assist Trophy section of the Smash Bros. Direct he said that he wants to add as many Assist Trophies as possible because they are implemented into All-Star Mode. First of all, this confirms that All-Star Mode will return. Second of all, I feel this is a significant tidbit to add to the "Super Smash Bros. 4" section. Thoughts? Waaaaluigi[edit]

Why does it say he's from the Wario series in SSB4 but the Mario series in SSBB? 1) He's never been in any Wario games 2) please be consistent, it bothers me. Nutta Butta (talk) 19:14, 15 May 2014 (EDT)

In that case can we change Brawl to be Wario too? Nutta Butta (talk) 14:28, 16 May 2014 (EDT)

m****a now I find that uv remains mario is a pity that did not change to uv wario which has more good future I think, it is also a shame that it is discarded as a fighter would have similar attacks to luigi and wario some own attacks. 37.14.119.249 20:09, 13 October 2014 (EDT)

Chunky?[edit]

Very interesting. Where did you hear this rumor? --EpicWendigo (talk) 19:38, 16 June 2014 (EDT)

I don't remember which sites in particular, but I remember it being on at least two plus I heard about it from several of my friends over Skype, too. Sounds like it was more widespread than just one person claiming it. Miles (talk) 20:01, 16 June 2014 (EDT)
That's incredible! However, we need photographic evidence of it. For now, let's put this in the rumor section if this is so widespread. --EpicWendigo (talk) 20:08, 16 June 2014 (EDT)
We can't. Unfortunately (and no offense to Miles), Skype conversations [that aren't recorded] aren't credible and Miles doesn't have any links to said "rumors." Like Rudy the Clown, Chunky Kong lost his relevance in 2000 (every other character from DK64 has appeared in some capacity in later games), so I doubt he's going to appear anyway. blue ninjakoopa 20:14, 16 June 2014 (EDT)
Didn't say it should be on the rumors page, nor that my conversations were a credible source. I just was asking if anybody had spotted him in footage, was all. Miles (talk) 20:16, 16 June 2014 (EDT)
Hopefully, someone did. If so many people were talking about it, chances are there is plenty of room for credibility. --EpicWendigo (talk) 21:17, 16 June 2014 (EDT)

Duster, Rosalina and Muddy Mole[edit]

On Smashboards I saw a bunch of guys suggesting that maybe there is some extra data on the second layer of the Brawl disc. No one has ever cracked that layer, which may hold some insight into more scrapped elements of Brawl, and may even have evidence of the three rumored ATs. Something to think about perhaps. "Blinky will take the shortest route possible to reach his target. Inky comes in from the opposite side and moves much more randomly." Torchickens (talk) 20:09, 12 September 2014 (EDT)

"Blinky, Inky, Pinky and Clyde will all appear on the stage! They each have their own movement patterns and will hurt opponents who touch them." Torchickens (talk) 20:16, 12 September 2014 (EDT)

The list was updated to include Shovel Knight, but we still need stuff for Alucard, Nikki, and Rathalos. And I am not the person to do that.72.133.91.93 11:57, 8 August 2018 (EDT)Blueflame105

Render Rip y/n?[edit]

Comparing the two renders side by side, they appear to be very similar but with a small couple of changes. Not sure if this is just ingame or just the website having a better quality render. Should we just merge it off as "from Super Smash Bros. 4 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate" or should we push to rip it from the website?

Ingame from SSB4 compared to the website render from SSBU, they look similar.

Those Compilation Images....[edit]

They look like they're fan made. Should they even be allowed to be on this page? Marioisawesome118 Marioisawesome118.png 23:18, July 8, 2019 (EDT)

Even if they are official, they're still just collected and repurposed official art. If their legitimacy is even remotely in question, I don't see why they should be on the page. Ahemtoday (talk) 00:47, July 9, 2019 (EDT)

My problem with the images is that, no offense, but they're not really "aesthetically-pleasing" to look at. I definitely prefer the one used for Brawl's Assists: Just a white background, none of the characters overlap each other, and they're artwork is completely unchanged. Images are now removed, for obvious reasons. Marioisawesome118 Marioisawesome118.png 21:11, July 11, 2019 (EDT)

Hammer Bro Info Sheet[edit]

I know he is also an enemy, but other enemy assist trophies like Chain Chomp and Lakitu have an info sheet and Ridley and Ganon only have info sheets because Ridley’s playable and Ganon’s A Final Smash, so why not give Hammer Bro a character sheet because he’s an assist trophy? 174.55.24.64 16:33, August 20, 2019 (EDT)
