I'm removing the note about the "Fox Laser Effect". If I'm correct, it's a reference to phantom hits, which have nothing to do (at least specifically) with Fox. BurningCrusader777 19:41, August 2, 2007 (EDT)

hey what does it mean fox is awkward??? its in the cons section

That's probably a comment from someone not as good at the game; initially fox is awkward, making his learning curve lower at its start. Llamalord 22:28, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

I don't think the person who wrote that was not good at the game, he probably just thought that fox is awkward as his opinion. My opinion of Fox is that he's quick, stragetic, and weak. Doc King (Don't have an account)

Pros[edit]

Is having a list of Fox Professionals really necessary for this page? --Janitor ( TalkContribs) 18:11, December 23, 2007 (EST)

Well, i'm deleting them. It's not needed, seeing as though there is a category for that, as well as the professionals page itself. Perhaps we could have a link of some sort instead?--Janitor ( TalkContribs) 23:40, January 8, 2008 (EST)

Fox's Down Grab Spike![edit]

It seems that you can actually spike someone using Fox's Down Grab near the Edge of some stages, was this mention? Anyway, this trick can kill you at 0% even... Falco can do something similar to it but the spike will be cancel due to his gun's flinching effect.

Falco is a lot easier to master than Fox. It's easy to short hop with him and he has a reliable uncancelable Spike. His fall speed acceleration isn't as high making less self-destructs while trying to edge guard. He also have a much better Blaster. The only downsides are his recovery is shorter and his up smash isn't as powerful as Fox's. user:Firewario User talk:Firewario 29th March 2009 17:14 (UTC)

Remove parentheses[edit]

I accidentally joined three parentheses instead of two in one sentence. Please seperate them and let me know. -76.116.186.130

Tournament dominance[edit]

Fox is a good character, but he doesn't "dominate" tournaments as much as someone like Meta Knight. At Apex 2012, the highest placing Fox player placed 3rd, and he played Falco as well. Mousehunter321 (talk · contributions) 19:48, 8 February 2012 (EST)

And again how can some useless clone and Jigglypuff can just be as good as my main even though Fox is clearly higher than them on the tier list? ..... The Morning Sun 19:53, 8 February 2012 (EST)
I did not say that Falco and Jigglypuff were as highly ranked as Fox on the tier list. What I was pointing out was that, although Fox has good tournament results, he does not dominate the tournament scene. Whether you main Fox is irrelevant. Mousehunter321 (talk · contributions) 19:58, 8 February 2012 (EST)

Victory Quote[edit]

Shouldn't be the second quote "作成終了" (sakusei shuryo), as in "Mission Accomplished" like in Star Fox 64? 124.244.72.41 08:28, 7 April 2015 (EDT)

Correction: It should be 作戦完了, 作戦終了, and こちらフォックス、これより帰還する respectively, meaning:
  • Mission Complete (Sakusen Kanryou)
  • Mission Accomplished (Sakusen Shuryou)
  • This is Fox, returning from here (or returning to base like in later English versions) (Kotira FOX, koreyori kikansuru)
