Amasawa (あまさわ) is a retired Japanese Donkey Kong in SSB64.
He has creative and fast use of platform shield-drop up air chains (dubbed the Amasawa-loop) and has taken games against many top players in Japan including Red, the top Mario in Japan, as well as even matches against Isai back when he visited Hokkaido in 2006. This is also remarkable as Donkey Kong is considered to be the worst character in the Japanese version, having no favorable matchups.
