I have been playing ''Smash 3DS ''over the last couple of days, and I have seen no sign of the underground version of this stage. I have played the alternate track and tested the secret inputs used for [[Dream Land]] and the [[Boxing Ring]]. I think that it's safe to assume that it is cut. Split[edit]

I suggest spliting the artical into

  • mushroomy kingdom (1-1) (or maybe oveworld)
    • mushroomy kingdom (1-2) (or maybe underworld)

with detailed info on each and a pic Almost like Samus (Zero Suit Samus) (in template of charecters) ~Crystal_Lucario 19:26, January 23, 2008 (EST)

at this point, i feel that we can take care of both in one article. unless there are significant deviations from their SMB1 appearances, we can pretty much just say it's designed as such and link to the respective SMB1 stages. my question is: do we make the articles for the SMB stages? FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 04:35, January 24, 2008 (EST)

Well if we dont split we should at least get a pic... ~Crystal_Lucario 08:22, January 24, 2008 (EST)

Thinking about they are actualy 2 seperate stages so I repropose the split ~Crystal_Lucario 08:25, January 24, 2008 (EST)

Thoughts on this?~Crystal_Lucario 18:17, January 24, 2008 (EST)

It looks like they are two different stages, it's just that they take place in the same area. Hamstermilitary 20:06, January 24, 2008 (EST)

We should cover both stages in one article, as FireNWater said.--Fandangox 21:12, January 24, 2008 (EST)

Considering that while they are selected by the same icon but otherwise are completely different stages, I think they do need separate articles. They are in the same area only insofar as game world, but we don't merge all stages that are in the same game world. Also, the stages don't alternate between each other. If you start the game on 1-1, you stay on 1-1. Ditto for 1-2. Each stage has different properties and provide different strategic options. I'm with Crystal Lucario that these should be separate articles. Clarinet Hawk 06:27, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

I suggest a single page with 2 infoboxes as two separate sub-articles on each half, but since it is some ways one stage it must be kept on the same page. Miles.oppenheimer (talk) 22:48, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

I think we should split it. There are 3 people who want it split and there are 3 people who don't want it split. Clariet Hawk is right in his point. Or how about this, one main page introducing them both, which will I guess be the previous page. And on that same page, there will be links connecting the article to otherpages giving detailed info on that stage. (one page for 1-1, a page for 1-2, and 1 page giving the music, the trivia, and both stages which is the article we have now. Learner4 (talk) 17:44, 1 November 2008 (UTC)

This debate was long over. I thin kthat this is really the best format if for no other reason than that it's simpler, easier to find and less disorganized. {My name is Miles, and I approve this message.} 17:46, 1 November 2008 (UTC)

Level control[edit]

I was under the impression you could guarantee getting one or the other of the levels by changing the music that plays in My Music? JalYt-Xil-Vimescarrot 18:47, 1 August 2008 (UTC)

Dream[edit]

Wierd... I had a dream once that a 3D remake of Super Mario Bros. Lost Levels (with identical gameplay) would be an unlockable mode on the Brawl disk. Dtm142 16:28, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

Isnt the desert place your talking about the Fire Emblem stage?

idiots![edit]

its called the mushroom kingdom not mushroomy kingdom!!!!! HYLIAN FURY (talk) 18:13, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

In Brawl, the stage's name is "Mushroomy Kingdom". Yes, it's not what it's called in the Mario series. Yes, previous stages lacked the "y". But check the facts before making such a comment. Toomai Glittershine Toomai.png eXemplary Logic cntrbs 19:56, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

No, I still don't get the "y"[edit]

I always wondered why the stage is named Mushroomy instead of Mushroom... the article says:

Game director Masahiro Sakurai stated in the stage's update on the Smash Bros. DOJO!! that he wanted to create the impression that the kingdom had been abandoned since its initial appearance in 1985, 23 years prior to the release of Brawl.
This explains the '-y' added to the title.

This made me laugh because I see no explanation in the first sentence.--Kombatgod (talk) 17:17, 5 January 2012 (EST)

@Kombatgod and User:BlindColours: The -y is meant to show that the stage is similar to the original Mushroom Kingdom. For example, many adjectives can be made into adverbs by adding a -y e.g. slow-->slowly. While the -y used isn't perfect, that is what it means and it should be noted in the article. Mousehunter321 (talk · contributions) 21:34, 5 January 2012 (EST)

Ok, so the idea is that this stage is not the Mushroom Kingdom, but it's "Mushroomy" (adjective)... It makes sense, since it's a different version of the stage... Anyway is not Sakurai's statement that explain this. Oh, ok, i see you already changed the article...--Kombatgod (talk) 18:11, 6 January 2012 (EST)

CHEAP!![edit]

I just discovered that Mario can perform a very, VERY CHEAP KO on this stage (but only on 1-2). Don't know if you already know about it though.

Here's how you do it (it works best on light characters like Olimar and Lucas).

1. Load the stage (but hold L and R on it)

2. Have Mario and the other one jump up on the highest blocks.

3. After that, the opponent should jump.

4. Then Mario has to jump a little and perform a Super Jump Punch on the opponent.

5. If done correctly, the opponent will get Star KO'd, even att small damage percentages.

If you find this as spam, i am sorry.

SonicRules I like Sonic, Mario and Link Sonic is the best in Brawl 6th September 2012 (UTC 1+).

You can get all sorts of very early KOs up there with plenty of moves, what you described is not unique. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 14:04, 6 September 2012 (EDT)
The term for this kind of talk page post isn't "spam", it's just irrelevant. Have a read through SW:TALK, you'll find that simple discussion points are not suitable for talk pages, and should instead be written in the forums. But while the topic is open, I find that this trick works particularly well with Raptor Boost. Toast Wii U Logo Transparent.pngltimatumTransparent Swadloon.png 14:06, 6 September 2012 (EDT)
A potential exploit on a stage is a relevant topic on this talk page. It's just the situation described is not unique. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 14:20, 6 September 2012 (EDT)
Yeah, I'm wrong, the presentation and tone made me misinterpret. Toast Wii U Logo Transparent.pngltimatumTransparent Swadloon.png 14:46, 6 September 2012 (EDT)

No Underground Section in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS[edit]

I have been playing Smash 3DS over the last couple of days, and I have seen no sign of the underground version of this stage. I have played the alternate track and tested the secret inputs used for Dream Land and the Boxing Ring. I think that it's safe to assume that it is cut. Lumastar (talk) Lumastar Green Luma.jpg
