== Trivia is TRIVIA == | |||
There seems to be an incessant hate at the thought of Master Core getting the obvious status of the first of all to be USING a stage in their attacks. What's up with that? Yes, Meta Ridley had a special field that he slammed, but that was a field unique to that battle alone. This case is that Master Core interacts with Final Destination, a stage that is playable in standard play and in all games but is always completely inert (which also makes it a heck of a huge shock your first time seeing that terrifying moment). == Antagonist? ==
Yes, Master Core is unnerving, but can we really call it an antagonist? It feels like it's simply there to serve as a final challenge (as opposed to Tabuu and his Subspace Army from Brawl, who were actively making trouble for the characters and had to be stopped for the sake of the world's safety). Master Core is kinda like Galacta Knight from the Kirby series, in a way; yes, you challenge it to a fight, but it's hard to say whether or not it's evil. --Luigifan18 (talk) 01:42, 6 February 2015 (EST)

Something I noticed when trying to kill Master Core is that when I used Flare Blitz, the move had Severely nerfed Knockback, which I don't think should happen?
Normally, Flare Blitz has great knockback, about the same as Rock Smash I think, if not slightly less or more, but Rock Smash, heck all of Charizards attacks seemed to react normally when attacking Master Core knockback wise.
And if prior memory serves, other powerful high knockback elemental attacks such as Falcon Punch or Arch Fire seemed to have the same knockback as usual. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Xenomata (talk • contribs) 16:07, 7 February 2015 (EST)

Chanced upon this video, which shows the player getting close to Master Core after its fifth red wave, and its self-destruct seems to also have its own hitbox. This is the first I've ever heard of such a thing. The hitbox seems to deal 50% damage just like one of the red waves, with just as much or nearly as much knockback. (The player in the video seems to be using defensive equipment.)

Fusion?[edit]
Just to specify, the reason I've put that is because the first few frames of the transformation seem to have six-seven fingers. And sometimes that ember just dies when no damage has been done to CH. ScoreCounter 12:09, 18 September 2014 (EDT)
That's not a sixth finger.
It's something (likely the black miasma) trying to break out of the glove. - Burb
