'''Nova''' is an American professional smasher from Atlanta. He began playing smash on kaillera in 2009 and he was completely new to the game but over time he learned and improved greatly. He was in the clan iXi for a short time and most recently he was in the clan [[NBK]]. He is not a very technichal player but makes up for it with good spacing and the ability to read his opponent well. He has done reasonably well in recent online tournaments including winning the singles bracket in one of MATTS! tournaments and has been in the top 3 in both the [[Smashboards]] and [[AllisBrawl]] ladders defeating well known players such as [[Smasher:KoRoBeNiKi|KoRoBeNiKi]] multiple times in the process. Recently won the Death Tourney bracket of MATTS! latest tournament by defeating top players, Legendary and {{Sm|killer}}.

Gavin, formerly known as Gav and Nova, is an American smasher. He began playing on Kaillera in 2009 when he was completely new to the game, but over time he learned and improved greatly. He is not a very technical player but makes up for it with his good spacing and the ability to read his opponent well. In 2018 at console tournaments he took sets from ReefyBeefy, Birra, B33F and the controversial Studstill, among others. He was formerly ranked 1st on the Georgia Power Rankings for 2019. In 2023 he attended Super Smash Con 2023, went 6-5 in pools and placed 97th. For the year of 2023 he also defeated NTA, at a tourney in Georgia and defeated XyamiZ, at Clemson Smash Series 40, the player who ended up winning the event.
