It is very useful for canceling others' attacks. Razor Leaf is a Special Grass-type attack introduced in Generation I. It is used exclusively by Grass-type Pokémon. It has 55 power and 95 accuracy, but it can hit all opponents in a double battle and has a 12.5% chance of doing a critical hit, which is bigger than most attacks' chance of 6.25%. Also, in ''Brawl'', Ivysaur launches a single leaf, while the animation for the move on Pokémon shows a flurry of leaves hitting the opponent. Also interesting to note is that because of the nuances of the battle system in Generation I, Razor Leaf would critically hit 99.6% of the time for most users and critical hits itself would also ignore any stat boosts and decreases made by the attacking and defending Pokémon, making it one of the more powerful moves back then.
In the {{uv|Pokémon}} series, Razor Leaf is a physical Grass-type move introduced in {{iw|bulbapedia|Generation I}} which consists of the Pokémon shooting a flurry of leaves at the opponent.
