The Clear % tells how much of The Subspace Emissary the player has completed. There is more than one way to increase the Clear %. First of all, the player has to enter every place they can, including [[Door|hidden doors]]. Clearing the Stages is the biggest way to increase the clear percentage. Acquiring all the [[orange cube]]s is another way to increase the clear percentage. These cubes contain valuable items, such as character trophies and will not reappear once you get them. Some items that are different from orange cubes occasionally appear, these also affect the clear percentage. To make sure one has 100%, the player's adventure map must have all crowns and no flags, as well as having all characters recruited, including {{SSBB|Jigglypuff}}, {{SSBB|Toon Link}} , and {{SSBB|Wolf}}.

The Adventure Map upon completion of the Subspace Emissary.

The Adventure Map serves as a level select to the Subspace Emissary of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It displays a map of the World of Trophies, and allows the player to choose a level of the Subspace Emissary to attempt to complete.

Throughout the game's storyline, some levels or areas may become shrouded in Subspace, preventing entry until completion of the story.

Clear %[edit]

The Clear % tells how much of The Subspace Emissary the player has completed. This is most commonly increased simply by clearing stages and progressing the storyline. After all stages have been completed, players can further increase the Clear % by entering any levels still marked with flags (see Icons below) and finding all orange cubes. Even after completing The Subspace Emissary's final stage with all orange cubes obtained, the player's Clear % will only be 97%. To get the final 3%, the player must find all hidden doors, including three specific doors that only appear after the final stage has been cleared. These lead to the last three unlockable characters, Jigglypuff, Toon Link, and Wolf.

A 100% clear is signified by having every single stage marked with a crown (see Icons below).

Icons[edit]

Levels on the Adventure Map are marked by one of three icons. An exclamation point indicate that the level has not yet been completed. A flag shows that the player has completed the level, but not all orange cubes have been broken, not all characters have been rescued (for Subspace Part I and II), or not all hidden doors have been entered. A flashing crown shows that the player has fully completed the level, including finding all hidden orange cubes and doors.

Options[edit]

Underneath the Adventure Map is a small options menu, offering three choices: "Stickers", which allows the player to move, remove, or apply stickers to their characters; "Save", which allows the player to save their game and is the main way to save progress in The Subspace Emissary (outside of a Save Point in The Great Maze); and "Quit", which exits the mode.

Music[edit]

Accompanying the Adventure Map is a music track of the same name, Adventure Map. It is an intense, orchestrated remix of the character select theme from the original Super Smash Bros.
