What the Dojo shows and the E for All videos show contradict each other. One shows enemies flying away at impct, another shows that they only take damage with little impact. Which should we go with? Or should we go with both?--Oxico 10:32, December 15, 2007 (EST)

It's a little hard to explain. What Pikachu does in the E3 video is discharge electricity with an attack button (I don't know whether it's standard or special) when he hits Mario and DK, which causes major knockback. Running into them would simply build up their damage a little. Teamrocketspy621 11:20, December 15, 2007 (EST)
Ah I see. So the high knockback in the Conference video is attributed to a special move. So should we put this on, or just leave it as speculation, since I have not seen any proof?--Oxico 11:58, December 15, 2007 (EST)

Origin Theory[edit]

I heard somewhere (dont remember) that the appearance of Volt Tackle is inspired by this Genesis game called Pulseman, and it was developed by Game Freak. Let's try to get more info on that.King KirbyD (talk) 01:36, 19 March 2012 (EDT)

Confused...[edit]

I kinda got rid of the red link because it says it links to "Pikachu's Final Smash in Brawl"... On a page about Pikachu's Final Smash in Brawl... So, what is the page supposed to be? I'm a tad mixed up about it... ScoreCounter (talk) 07:37, 20 April 2014 (EDT)

It's a moveset subpage that goes into the technical details and frame data of the move in the game. This article is more focused on simply explaining the basic details and the origin of the move, for example. Scr7Scr7 sig.png(talk · contribs) 10:20, 20 April 2014 (EDT)
