| Beginning in July of 2011 and continuing until December, select tournaments for ''Brawl'' and ''Melee'' were listed as Apex qualifiers in the United States and internationally. Each "Road to Apex" qualifier tournament would award the highest placing players a certain number of points, which would then be used to help with seeding the Apex bracket. The points are broken down from 1st place to 7th place below.
