I just want you all to know, that I am a bit of a conspiracy theorist, and here is one I have been thinking of for a long time, but had yet to share:
Young Zelda...
in Melee?
So, the basis for my theory comes from this:
See what's strange about the two pictures? Take a good hard look. It relates to Zelda after Kirby swallows her.
Yes, that's correct. While Kirby uses Nayru's Love as normal, it's the hat that's strange and the reason why I am writing this rather dumb conspiracy theory page at all. Kirby doesn't get Zelda's luscious blonde tresses or her crown as his hat. He's wearing the wimple worn by Young Zelda. Take a look if you haven't played OoT before. [1]
In Melee, Zelda's hat is the only one to deviate from the character which Kirby swallowed. This leads me to believe that a Young Zelda could have been planned but scrapped very very early in development, and the only evidence to support this is her leftover Kirby hat. I don't know about a Young Sheik, but if they were planning a Toon Sheik and Zelda, then perhaps my theory of Young Zelda is somewhat correct. Another person to have been dropped in Brawl.
In closing, it is good that Young Zelda, if she were even planned, was ultimately left out. I am not saying that this is a fact that should be added to any articles, but wanted to throw this out there.
