"The Newlyweds" are a highly competitive team made up of Husband and Wife. Consisting primarily of Marth and Peach, their team name comes from the MTV show of the same name, mocking Hollywood couple Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson.

The Newlyweds have seen relative success since their debut at Game Over in January of 2004. Their greatest accomplishment consists of placing 4th at one of the most significant tournaments of all time, the MLG 2006 Championships.
