Trivia[edit]
- This event was teased during the event SSB Ultimate Is Five Years Old! as the second of four Spirit Board events.
- Of the four, it is the only one to not have four spirits, instead only having three.
- This is the first Spirit Board event to introduce more than one new spirit battle without adding any new support spirits.
- This is the first Spirit Board event to introduce multiple new minor universes.
- The 13 Sentinel Pilots and Zagreus spirits do not feature their series name, being 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim and Hades respectively, on the battle screen, nor in the list of spirits. This oddity is shared with the Noah & Mio Spirit from the previous Fresh New Faces! event. The event's announcement post by Nintendo of America does not mention the game titles that are omitted in-game either.
- All of these spirits share the trait of being from games with a higher age rating than Ultimate, similar to how games given an M rating by the ESRB were not mentioned by name in international trailers when Mii Costumes from them were added, and how, starting with Challenger Pack 8, disclaimers were presented for content from T-rated games. While unconfirmed, it is possible the rating restrictions surrounding featuring content from games with higher age ratings than Ultimate have been tightened since previous content additions, hence why games/series with a higher rating are no longer being mentioned by name with the new Spirit additions.
- Notably, when the game was updated to version 13.0.2 on February 14, 2024, this discrepancy was not corrected, indicating that the series names were not omitted by mistake.
