Smash Documentary: Road to the New Era is an ongoing documentary series produced by Shogun. It documents the history of the Japanese Smash community from the original Super Smash Bros. to the present day, with arcs that specifically focused on Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Smash Bros. 4, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
The first episode was released on October 4th, 2023 on Shogun's YouTube channel, with each subsequent episode releasing whenever it's complete. English subtitles were also provided, translated by Naru and Sean from school.
