vortex is a Melee and Project M player who resides in Westchester, New York and attends Stony Brook University. Long considered a hidden boss in the New York Scene, he began travelling consistently, picking up wins over satdaddy at GENESIS 4 along with Ryobeat and King Momo at Super Smash Con 2017, then subsequently breaking out at The Big House 7 with his win over Westballz and a top 64 placing. In 2018, he has picked up wins over Ginger, Medz, and Ralph at various majors. He is currently ranked 4th on the New York City Power Rankings and was previously ranked 96th on the 2018 MPGR.
