On December 15th, 2020, E-Serpent made transphobic tweets towards trans individuals, repeatedly stating them in Twitter threads <ref> {{cite web|url= https://twitter.com/eserpent1/status/1338893474389692421?s=20 |title=E-Serpent’s transphobic tweets}}</ref>. Despite members of the MISU community attempting to educate him with trans identity on February 5th, 2020, he has refused to listen and has continued to express his prejudice. As a result, he has been barred from attending future MISU tournaments with the opportunity to appeal after a year.
