Asura, formerly AlphaX, is a notable commentator from the United Kingdom. He is known for his analytical/play by play commentating style, as well as fast paced and energetic commentary overall. Working alongside some of the UK's finest.
Asura first started out as a competitor in the UK around the end of Smash 4, and stopped play pre lock down of Smash Ultimate. His focus shifted to doing content creation before, deciding to do commentary.
Asura would end up doing some unofficial NSE commentary for their Teams Tournaments during the lockdown era, then soon going into offline casting around the time of BIG LAB:Holiday Fest. But it wasn't until DAT Monday Meltdown 213 where Asura would cast with NutRoast and start to see a little more attention being brought to his name, later being labelled as "One of the Faces of Meltdown comms". He has commentated in notable events such as DAT BlastZone 32, WANTED S5 C2, Reunion, and Resurgence, also regularly commentating DAT Monday Meltdown weeklies on VGBootCamp.
