Twintelle (ツインテーラ, Twintella) is a character and playable fighter in the Nintendo Switch game ARMS.
Origin[edit]
One of the playable fighters in ARMS, Twintelle is a famed movie star and the owner of Cinema Deux. Originally a pop star on the same label as Ribbon Girl, she switched to acting before eventually entering the ARMS League. Unlike most characters, Twintelle's ARMS gene manifests in her hair, leaving her with normal human arms and hair that functions as two additional, stretchy appendages. While other cases of the ARMS gene manifesting in body parts besides arms exist, Twintelle is the only known case to specifically manifest in the hair and has thus attracted the attention of ARMS Labs, who she refuses to allow to study her. Her Grand Prix ending depicts a crowded theatre showing a feature film, the scene being a cold evening with Twintelle flipping her hair like a scarf around her neck opposite a male co-star. Twintelle's standard ARMS are the Chilla, the Parasol and the Thunderbird; she utilizes two Chillas in Super Smash Bros.
In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[edit]
Assist role[edit]
Twintelle is seen in Min Min's Final Smash, ARMS Rush and unleashes a flurry of punches alongside other characters from ARMS.
As a background character[edit]
Twintelle appears on the screen in background of Spring Stadium. She also appeared in Min Min's reveal trailer, where she fought Kid Cobra for the Smash invitation. She was later knocked out by Min Min's Dragon.
As a color scheme[edit]
Twintelle's "left" color scheme is the basis for Min Min's 6th costume.
Spirit[edit]
Twintelle also appears Advanced-class support spirit.
In Adventure Mode: World of Light, Twintelle is presumably one of the countless spirits captured by Galeem during his takeover of the universe. Twintelle's spirit is located in the southern city section of The Light Realm.
Twintelle uses a Bayonetta puppet fighter starting off with a Drill, referencing Twintelle's Parasol ARMS, and is fought on the New Donk City Hall stage. During the battle, Bayonetta favors smash attacks, referencing Twintelle uses her hair as giant fists to attack.
