Rizeasu (りぜあす) (sometimes going by the tag てく) is a Smasher from Kyoto, Kansai. He is known for his extensive character roster across two different Smash titles and is often considered one of the best Random players in the world.

He made his competitive debut in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. Though known for playing many different characters due to frequently choosing random, his primary main for most of Smash 4 was Marth. He was considered one of the best Marth players in Japan, notably using only Marth to place highly at many Sumabato events and defeat players such as HIKARU and Masashi. In the game's final year, Rizeasu primarily played Zelda and had a Dr. Mario secondary. Despite both characters being considered among the worst in the game, Rizeasu was still able to successfully pilot both characters in competitive play, including placing 2nd at Sumabato Tokaigi Qualifier 2 with primarily Zelda and 7th at Sumabato 28 with both characters, in addition to defeating HIKARU with Zelda at Sumabato 28 and Choco with Dr. Mario at Niconico Tokaigi 2018. As such, he is often considered the best Zelda and Dr. Mario player in Smash 4's final competitive year. Though never ranked on the PGR, he was ranked 68th on the PGR 100.

Rizeasu was better known for his performances in Ultimate, where he continued to possess an extensive character roster, an example being winning Hirosuma 14 while successfully using 21 different characters. He was primarily a Zelda player in the early metagame, but switched to Mii Brawler during the pandemic and Byleth and Marth in the post-pandemic metagame, and has also seen great success playing Sephiroth and Robin. He was considered the best Mii Brawler player during the pandemic and was the first to achieve any notable performances outside of regionals, including winning Maesuma TOP 4 while defeeating Tea and Kameme. In addition, he is considered one of the greatest Marth players of all time and the best Byleth player in Japan, having notably defeated Hero and HIKARU with the former and acola and Yoshidora with the latter. He is the only Marth main to rank on a global ranking, and peaked at 61st on the OrionRank 2022.

  • Rizeasu is notorious for his constant name switching, in both tournaments and social media.
    • A notorious in-game tag he uses is "時給3円" which means "hourly wage 3 yen" as a joke referencing the fact that Japan has no cash payout due to the gambling law, leading his Smash career to have low income overall.
