Astero is an American Falco main from Washington state, known for his flashy playstyle. To date, Astero is known as one of the best reaction-tech-based players in the region, along with Jcklonk.
Astero was formerly ranked ninth on the Eastern Washington Power Rankings.
Playstyle[edit]
Astero is known for his exceptional performance against Fox, as well as his poor performance against Falco. In his own words, Famously, he stated that "The Falco ditto is 60/40." Which has now grown to become a standard mindset in the EWA Melee community.
His greatest strength is also his greatest weakness, stemming from an aggressive playstyle, Impatience is a common problem. This has led to great performances vs. slower characters, namely OHAI's Donkey Kong, but poor performances vs Scarecrow's Peach.
Above all else, Astero is known for his unbridled commitment to the game, which shown in his 18 straight tournament appearances during the fall 2021 ranking season.
