SWT: East Asia Ultimate Regional Finals was the sixth and last Super Smash Bros. Ultimate final for Phase Two of the Smash World Tour 2021. The eight players who qualified through the SWT: Japan Ultimate Online Qualifier and the eight players who qualified through the SWT: East Asia South Ultimate Online Qualifier were invited to this tournament. The top 5 players qualified for the Smash World Tour 2021 Championships. Due to COVID-19 travel restrictions, all players from Southeast Asia were unable to attend the tournament and were replaced by competitors from Japan who attended the Online Qualifier. To make up for this, XIFL was automatically invited to the Smash World Tour 2021 Championships to represent Southeast Asia, while the qualifying slots for the regional finals were reduced from six to five.[1]

Due to time concerns with the venue, Winners Finals and Losers Semis had to be played off-stream. The VODs are currently not uploaded, though the commentary said they would. The tournament's stream had technical issues; its audio frequently cut out, and in one instance, two songs played at once.[2]

The tournament was initially set to take place from July 3rd-4th then September 25th-26th and November 6th-7th, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[3][4]
