== Earthbound ESRB note ==
Quite obscure, but confirming the Citation needed tag in the article (about the ESRB note popping up in specifically North American releases) would need both of these:
* Someone with a European region-locked Wii U setting their system's language to English and seeing if the <s>ESRB</s> note is absent.
* Someone with a North American region-locked Wii U setting their system's language to French/Spanish and seeing if the <s>ESRB</s> note is present.
* '''Edit:''' Also, someone with an Australian region-locked Wii U seeing if any note is present.
I can confirm (from haphazard Youtube searching) that Japanese, German, and French (France not Canada) region games do not display the ESRB note. [[User:Zowayix|Zowayix]] ([[User talk:Zowayix|talk]]) 02:42, July 10, 2021 (EDT)
:I'd like to remind you that both Europe and Japan do not use the ESRB, instead having have their own ratings board ({{s|wikipedia|PEGI}} and {{s|wikipedia|CERO}}), so those versions very likely don't display the ESRB notice because their respective region doesn't even use it. Also, ''EarthBound'' has both the same PEGI rating and CERO rating as ''Smash Wii U'', so the lack of a notice is likely not needed due to that. Lastly, could you provide a link to the videos in which you are referring to as a source of proof? Seperate worlds/items/enemies/etc. pages[edit]

Hey, I wonders if we shall do individual pages for each world/item/enemy that appears in 'Masterpiece'-games? We ARE the SmashWiki, through all. ~ King M 09:23 26 January 2008 (GMT +01)

whoa, that's WAY too many articles. only the important stuff deserves an article. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 05:48, January 27, 2008 (EST)
Ofcourse I mean that only named shall have their ones, and the numbered in ones; for example: World 1-1 to World 1-4 in Super Mario Bros. shall have one article about the first world, World 8-1 to 8-4 one about the eight world, Kirby's Adventures first ones in one about Vegetable Valley and levels like Zoness and Fichina from Star Fox 64 shall have respective ones, cause they got names. Subspecies and particular ones shall have their respectives in the main-species article, like, if a game with the subspecies Mico-Goomba or the character Gooma would be released, it would be written as a part of Goomba. The same for forms, such as that Fire Mario hsall be targeted under Mario. We already has many articles too already, with about everything from Halberd and Venom to Buzzy Beetle and Bronto Burt. This shall ofcourse not go for characters/subspecies that has had mayor roles in the Smash Bros. games such as Petey Piranha, Giant DK, Metal Mario and Metal Luigi, however. Hacks?[edit]

In the real version of Brawl these are very cubersome and don't ever let you save. Is there a cheat/hack to play the full game, and to also play DKC, FE and EB? --RoyboyX (talk) 12:31, 1 September 2011 (EDT)

They are demos. They aren't supposed to be a full game... ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 13:08, 1 September 2011 (EDT)

No but in Super Metroid I can either choose to try to get up to Crateria or I can go to Kraid's lair just for fun, so that indicates that they programmed the entire game in but put time limits on them. --RoyboyX (talk) 13:29, 1 September 2011 (EDT)

For EarthBound: there are a few references to American things, such as Yankees, and so to do anything with the original game of EarthBound you would need to change the references (or remove them), which Nintendo won't ever do in their VC games, or license them all over again and squabble billions more dollars. Also, could someone with access to Brawl's files like Toomai see if EarthBound/Fire Emblem could actually be enabled? Or if their data is empty like the unused music? --RoyboyXRoyHeadSSBM.png Talk 20:19, 2 October 2011 (EDT)

Japan[edit]

In the Japanese Direct, they show off more Masterpieces NOT in the American Direct. Compare: Japan America Whitey (talk) 08:48, 25 October 2014 (EDT)

Apparently, this guy did some hacking with his copy of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and found this:

Earthbound ESRB note[edit]

Quite obscure, but confirming the Citation needed tag in the article (about the ESRB note popping up in specifically North American releases) would need both of these:

  • Someone with a European region-locked Wii U setting their system's language to English and seeing if the ESRB note is absent.
  • Someone with a North American region-locked Wii U setting their system's language to French/Spanish and seeing if the ESRB note is present.
  • Edit: Also, someone with an Australian region-locked Wii U seeing if any note is present.

I can confirm (from haphazard Youtube searching) that Japanese, German, and French (France not Canada) region games do not display the ESRB note. Zowayix (talk) 02:42, July 10, 2021 (EDT)

I'd like to remind you that both Europe and Japan do not use the ESRB, instead having have their own ratings board (PEGI and CERO), so those versions very likely don't display the ESRB notice because their respective region doesn't even use it.
