Users can choose to display certain tournaments based off of seasons, whether they're PGR tournaments, and whether they are Wi-Fi tournaments. The same thing can be done with players, with users having the option to display all games or only games that involve PGR players, and characters, which would single out the sets where the player has used that character.

Not to be confused with SSBPD, which stands for "Super Smash Bros. Player Database".
The website.

Smashdata.gg is a website that records offline and online tournament data from start.gg for Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate players. The website has recorded over 550,000 player profiles and 110,000 tournaments. Data is updated at the end of every week.

On November 13th, 2020, the website was acquired by Panda.[1] Following Panda's initial collapse, the website continued to run but was no longer maintained, leading to several bugs and improper tournament reports. The creator of Smashdata.gg went on to help create smashers.app, which served as a spiritual successor to Smashdata.

Applications[edit]

Smashdata.gg is an open resource player database that provides quick access to competitive Smash records and head to heads. The database currently contains all Smash 4 PGR- level tournaments, most major Melee tournaments as well as several locals and regionals since 2019, and all Ultimate tournaments with at least 32 entrants.[2] Wi-Fi tournaments for both Melee and Ultimate are also recorded and are denoted with a Wi-Fi symbol.

Users can choose to display certain tournaments based off of seasons, whether they're PGR tournaments, and whether they are Wi-Fi tournaments. The same thing can be done with players, with users having the option to display all games or only games that involve PGR players, and characters, which would single out the sets where the player has used that character.

Trivia[edit]

  • Every April Fools' Day, the character portraits are changed to the corresponding character's Kirby hat.[3]
