PracticalTAS, sometimes referred to as simply PTAS, is a Canadian mathematician who is a prominent member of the competitive Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate scene. He is a statistician and analyst for Panda's PGStats division and is responsible for the algorithm used for the first two seasons of the Panda Global Rankings Ultimate, along with being in charge of the Melee Panda Global Rankings. He was previously an analyst for both SSBMRank and the Panda Global Rankings. PracticalTAS is also a member of the Universal Controller Fix team and the Melee Competition Committee.
