Somebody please fact-check me on this article, because I wrote it completely from memory. During the TG6 finals which is one of the only times this has come up (since it was like two sets of best of 9 or something), Dave (scamp) himself spoke up that dave's stupid rule was being implemented incorrectly. It's not supposed to disallow picking of a stage that has been picked before in the set, but instead supposed to stop a player from picking the same stage twice in a row on their turns to pick. That way they have to have at least 2 stages in which they're proficient. However, I don't think anybody listened to him, and it's difficult to phrase the rule efficiently that way. To my knowledge, the way the rule is used and enforced today is exactly like you've written it. [[User:Usea|Usea]] 19:49, April 6, 2007 (GMT) | |||

Why don't we put something up about banned techniques? (Like the Luigi Ladder) For example, me and my brother like to do team battles against a pair of two level 9 CPU's, and when there is only one left, we like to me grab our foe and pummel him until he breaks free, only to be grabbed promptly by my brother and pummeled etc. I'll bet any thing this is banned, but we need a section with banned techniques. Factuallity of legal stages[edit]
Looking at some MLG tournament threads on SWF, I noticed that many more stages were banned than those listed here. Is this list different from official MLG rules? 16BitJorge 23:01, May 25, 2007 (GMT)
Banned moves?[edit]
Why don't we put something up about banned techniques? (Like the Luigi Ladder) For example, me and my brother like to do team battles against a pair of two level 9 CPU's, and when there is only one left, we like to me grab our foe and pummel him until he breaks free, only to be grabbed promptly by my brother and pummeled etc. I'll bet any thing this is banned, but we need a section with banned techniques.
