It allows the character in question to attack aerially even faster than with a shffl'd aerial. For an example, go into training mode with Ness. Perform his double jump~~, and let it reach maximum height. Now, try again, but use your second jump just as you leave the ground, and press A. Your double jump will be cancelled and you will do the attack and immediately~~ fall~~.
