Epita Smash Arena 2 was a European national tournament held by SSBUP and Cycom during February 23rd-24th in Villejuif, France. It held the record for being the largest European Super Smash Bros. Melee tournament for nearly seven years before being surpassed by B.E.A.S.T 5, and also held the record being the largest French tournament for eight years before being surpassed by Smashdown World. This tournament was advertised on the Official French Nintendo Magazine as well as in video game stores across France and as a result there was a record attendance for the tournament.
