I've been sitting on this one for a while, and it's probably time to throw it out there. Basically, I feel like [[Template:Draft|drafts]] should be used more often. Now, what I'm proposing here is a '''guideline''', not a policy, the proposal template just doesn't allow for that. I would like to encourage use of drafts by making a guideline that explains the process, and in particular, makes it clear that drafting in the userspace is a valid excuse to essentially break probation policy, as long as it is clear that the article is intended to be added to the mainspace. What I have already written likely still requires some polish, but I would like some opinions on what to do about this, including the usefulness of this. | I've been sitting on this one for a while, and it's probably time to throw it out there. I like your article because it makes it clear what they are for and that they can be edited pressure-free, since editing them won't risk you probation. I've been sitting on this one for a while, and it's probably time to throw it out there. Basically, I feel like drafts should be used more often. Now, what I'm proposing here is a guideline, not a policy, the proposal template just doesn't allow for that.
You can review the article here. Feel free to make any changes you feel necessary. Black Vulpine of the Furry Nation. Furries make the internets go! :3 05:38, 29 December 2018 (EST)
Support[edit]
- Support but I think this would do better as just a help article. The only "rule" being put forth here really is that "you won't be probated because you edited drafts in the userspace" and that can be put into SW:PROB and SW:SWSS just fine. Serpent King 13:28, 12 January 2019 (EST)

Neutral[edit]
- I myself have used the draft "feature" before, but I find it annoying that every time I have to move it into the proper wikispace, I have to tag the redirect that gets left behind for deletion. If there's a way to work around this (and not being an admin), then I'll support. SugarCookie 420 21:23, 22 February 2019 (EST)
