Snake[edit]
His official SSB name is Snake, not Solid Snake. Shouldn't this, then, be moved to Snake? - Pokemon DP
- Good question... For other characters, we seem to go with names like Samus Aran and Fox McCloud because that's their names on their Melee trophies, even though on Melee's selection screen their names are just "Samus" and "Fox" both in the boxes' text and when the voice calls them out when you select them. With that in mind, it's not a bad idea to keep it as "Solid Snake" over "Snake" for now, and see if his trophy in Brawl is named "Solid Snake" to Solid-ify that as the name of the article. And even if it isn't, if there's any sort of appearance of any of the other Snakes in the series (Naked Snake, Liquid Snake, and Solidus Snake, I believe), Solid Snake would be useful to distinguish from all those. This is all just my reasoning... Erik the Appreciator
No, because there are 4 Snakes. Solid Snake, Liquid Snake, Solidus Snake, and Naked Snake (aka Big Boss). Also, should there be mention that he is one of the three sons of Big Boss, formed in the 'Les Enfences Terribles" Incident? Maybe in the main Solid Snake page (not his SSBB appearance one). Johnknight1 12:58 7 October 2007 (PCT)
But unlike Sonic, he's only been called Snake on the site. I think we should start having some sort of naming standards. --Trogga 14:13, January 14, 2008 (EST)
Well there's a good reason to call him Solid Snake since his secret taunts have him talking to his support team back in MGS1 which only Solid Snake did. --Akumaserge 16:27, July 30, 2008 (EST)
He is called Snake in the MGS series. Obviously you haven't played them. Liquid Snake is referred to as Liquid, Solidus Snake is referred to as Solidus, and Big Boss is Big Boss. If you are confused, buy MGS2. It's a great game. You will also find your references in it. B-52 (talk) 20:08, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
Also, when you beat Classic mode or whatever and the credits role, they list him as "Solid Snake". -

Trophy?[edit]
Is Snake a trophy? because in the first trailer, he was invited by his boss in the Brawl from (im guessing) his own world. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Christocracker (talk • contribs) 05:04, 22 December 2007 (UTC)

Weight[edit]
I was just looking at the weight list, and Snake has been moved over King Dedede to Super Heavy. Has this been confirmed? (Benji Man) (talk) 13:57, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
Here is the link that shows the brawl weight list, [1]. It seems to have been tested and shows Snake as a super heavyweight. Although, I think King Dedede should weight more than Snake. Everyone take a look and see what you think is correct. --Danbatista (talk) 15:30, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
OK, I tested the difference between Snake's weight and Dedede's weight. Snake proved to be heavier, but the same test was done on Gannondorf, and he proved to be heavier than Snake. There could have been an error on that page. B-52 (talk) 20:43, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
ZSS[edit]
shouldn't we add that he has a love for zero suit samus. remember in his Codec conversation he said (about ZSS) "If I take off all this heavy gear I might catch up to her. User: Pik kid 20:29, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
yeah this is just my opinion but ZSS and Snake make a great team. One combo I found was that you can easily use ZSS's side special to knock your opponent into a mine, a c4, or snake's forward smash. Shade487z (talk) 00:43, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
