::ah sorry about that. Anyways, the day one patch is to make sure replays work properly. It’s not said to have any balancing changes. I’m fine with y’all not accepting edits until the game is out, but there’s hard evidence. Day one patch isn’t changing that. I can show you a source if you want. - Aramis687

Two things...1. I actually don't know how to get notifications for SmashWiki on mobile. Could you tell me how to do that, Vulpine? And, 2. Aramis, thank you for defending me and providing even more evidence of the angle change. But, something seems odd about the combo you tried to do. Now, I don't know what Ridley's hitstun animations are. But, did your 2nd DAB Kick send at a slightly different angle? Is there an initial hit and late hit added to it? That 2nd one looks like it put Ridley into a different hitstun animation! You may have just proven that DAB Kick has two different hitboxes...maybe. But, from your video, those 2 DAB Kicks didn't send at the same angle! Umbra King7991 (talk) 00:07, 7 December 2018 (EST)
It seems the first Doenwards kick sends you at the infamous 80 degree angle. however, the second one sends you sideways like smash 4. Aramis687 (talk) 21:11, 7 December 2018 (EST)
@Aramis687 I commented on that video you linked to! I found something interesting! It seems like DAB Kick has a late hit, now, like a normal ABK! Umbra King7991 (talk) 00:58, 10 December 2018 (EST)
What does it mean that it has a late hit? Explain pls Aramis687 (talk) 21:52, 11 December 2018 (EST)
Oh nevermind, I see it! Aramis687 (talk) 21:55, 11 December 2018 (EST)
Yeah, but, Vulpine tested it further and he said it only improves the ability to link 2 DAB Kicks in a row like you did in your video. Since the strong initial hit is still 60° it'll be hard to follow up after the 2nd one. But, it's still an improvement, in my opinion, and I'm wondering if connecting 2 late hit DAB Kicks during witch time is possible. That might set up something. Test that, Aramis! Umbra King7991 (talk) 00:20, 13 December 2018 (EST)
Wow...looks like we were both wrong. It's a new grounded hitbox, not a late hit. I tested it fully and the Wiki confirms it. Still, it's not the route I thought they'd go with buffing it.  Umbra King7991 (talk) 23:01, 24 December 2018 (EST)

Frame data for Witch Twist (SSBU)[edit]

An icon used in notice templates. NOTE: SmashWiki is not speculative. Please refrain from adding detailed data values derived from pre-release gameplay footage, such as the E3 demo. Such data (damage values, launch trajectories, frame data, etc.) are subject to change before the official release.

This banner is on every character page, including Bayonetta's. I noticed you got upset when someone reverted a previous attempt to add frame data, but that is why you were reverted the first time, and why you were reverted the second time. Please wait until the game drops before trying to add frame numbers anywhere, please. Thank you. Black Vulpine of the Furry Nation. Furries make the internets go! :3 17:30, 14 November 2018 (EST)

Please stop putting in frame data for Bayonetta in Ultimate. We aren't speculative as Black Vulpine said. If the frame data holds true after release, you may add it back. Until then don't add it back. George Jones.jpg Corrin Fan Walls Can Fall.jpg 17:27, 15 November 2018 (EST)

I did attempt to reword my phrase regarding the change that didn't include specific numbers! But, you still think the buff is a lie when I can easily prove that the angle HAS changed in some way! Umbra King7991 (talk) 16:46, 17 November 2018 (EST)

What I added to the Wiki was NOT speculative whatsoever! Umbra King7991 (talk) 16:49, 17 November 2018 (EST)

Oh...wait, we're talking about Witch Twist here? Ok, I see why you're mad. I understood what I did wrong there, but, why can't I put "snap to the ledge" instead of "grab the ledge"??? Umbra King7991 (talk) 16:51, 17 November 2018 (EST)

I honestly don't even care about my Witch Twist note being deleted. I was in the wrong there. I'm sorry. I'm just confused as to why I can't say "snap" to the ledge. Umbra King7991 (talk) 16:57, 17 November 2018 (EST)

I'm not the person who removed your edit, but I'm guessing because they're pretty much the same thing. SugarCookie420 (talk) 16:58, 17 November 2018 (EST)

The only difference is that "snap" is the competitive term. Umbra King7991 (talk) 17:59, 17 November 2018 (EST)

Changes to Downwards After Burner Kick[edit]

So, I've been trying to add a note on Bayonetta's Wiki regarding a noticable change in launch angle on DAB Kick and this Corrin Fan keeps deleting it! I understand, now, that specific numbers can't be used pre-launch! So, I tried to reword my phrase and my buff note [which I can prove to be correct] is still being deleted even though I'm not using numbered variables anymore! Other characters' Wikis have notes of launch angle changes on their moves and nobody's complaining about it! Yet, Corrin Fan keeps deleting my buff note on DAB Kick! Why?!?! Umbra King7991 (talk) 16:44, 17 November 2018 (EST)

Next time provide us a link as to where you found that in your edit summary, or a video that shows this. It'll help somewhat. SugarCookie420 (talk) 16:57, 17 November 2018 (EST)

That's a good idea, actually. I'll add my note back and put a link and timestamp of my proof. Umbra King7991 (talk) 17:00, 17 November 2018 (EST)

At this point, since your edit has been reverted multiple times, you should talk about it in the talk page first, courtesy of SW:1RV. SugarCookie420 (talk) 17:02, 17 November 2018 (EST)

I don't care. I'm going to keep re adding it and putting my evidence in my edit summary until the change stays in the Wiki! Umbra King7991 (talk) 17:46, 17 November 2018 (EST)

No you're not. See SW:1RV for details on edit warring, which is what you are doing. Specific data points are not to go on this wiki until such a time as they can be proven, in this case, when the game comes out. Continuation of this behavior will result in your block. Serpent SKSig.png King 17:53, 17 November 2018 (EST)

But, I'm not putting any specific data points at all! So, how could I be violating it! Umbra King7991 (talk) 18:01, 17 November 2018 (EST)

You're violating SW:1RV because you continuously add in your info despite having it undone multiple times. No matter if it's correct or not, when your post is reverted, you talk about it on the talk page and not undo the revert, as this causes edit wars. SugarCookie420 (talk) 18:04, 17 November 2018 (EST)
Also, your last attempt is still too specific, as the 'better angle for combos' part is considered to be 'competitive expertise'. While we want as much of that as we can get for a COMPLETE game, info for a game that hasn't been released is speculative. Black Vulpine of the Furry Nation. Furries make the internets go! :3 18:08, 17 November 2018 (EST)

Ok, ok, fine! I made a post on the discussion page zhowing my evidence! I'll get feedback from the comments section and we'll find a way to correctly add the buff to the Wiki! Umbra King7991 (talk) 18:11, 17 November 2018 (EST)

But, I'm just saying, nobody freaked out when people added launch angle changes to moves on other characters...even though they weren't specific. Umbra King7991 (talk) 18:14, 17 November 2018 (EST)

I went through the character pages and took them out. Black Vulpine of the Furry Nation. Furries make the internets go! :3 18:15, 17 November 2018 (EST)

Ok, so, how do I delete these discussions? Umbra King7991 (talk) 18:41, 17 November 2018 (EST)

You cannot. Black Vulpine of the Furry Nation. Furries make the internets go! :3 18:44, 17 November 2018 (EST)

Ok, well, SugarCookie420? Can you teach me how to make a cool profile like yours? Mine's so basic and boring. 😞 Umbra King7991 (talk) 19:06, 17 November 2018 (EST)

Mine's kinda generic, but if you want, you can take a look at the structure, just don't edit anything. SugarCookie420 (talk) 20:05, 17 November 2018 (EST)

It doesn't matter anymore. I know that the angle has been changed and, when the game is out, I'll prove it! Umbra King7991 (talk) 22:28, 26 November 2018 (EST)

I'm just sick of this nonsense and people not knowing the difference between angles! Go back to geometry class!!! Umbra King7991 (talk) 23:56, 4 December 2018 (EST)

Your behaviour is extremely unacceptable. Like I suggested to you before, take a time out from this, you're getting way too worked up over something so trivial. Black Vulpine of the Furry Nation. Furries make the internets go! :3 00:02, 5 December 2018 (EST)

The angle for DABK IS different. It launches you at 80 degree angle. https://youtu.be/UDPcIqN9igc - I don’t know how Vulpine sees that the angles are the same in smash 4 and Ultimate. I recorded this two weeks ago at the full roster demo. I know the game isn’t out yet Vulpine, but there’s video evidence of the angle change. I don’t know how you see no difference. - Aramis687

I said there was a SMALL difference. One that could be changed in a day one patch. We are not accepting such edits until the game is released. And that goes for competitive expertise too.
