Spewpa (コフーライ, Kofuurai) is a creature from the Pokémon series.

Origin[edit]

Spewpa is a Bug-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VI, found in the wild as its pre-evolution Scatterbug early on or occasionally in the berry fields if pink Berries are growing, and is categorized within the Pokédex at #665 as the "Scatterdust Pokémon". It evolves from Scatterbug at level 9, and evolves into Vivillon at level 12. Together they are the only Bug types introduced in Generation VI (excluding Mega Evolutions).

Stun Spore is a move in the Pokémon games: it causes Paralysis on a single target, but has only 75% accuracy. Spewpa does not learn it naturally, but it can be carried over from its prior evolution which learns it at level 6 or by breeding.

In Super Smash Bros. 4[edit]

As a Poké Ball Pokémon[edit]

Sonic alongside a Spewpa in the 3DS version.

Spewpa appears as a Poké Ball summon. It remains immobile, but when hit releases a cloud of Stun Spore which temporarily paralyzes any opponent caught in it. It does not affect its summoner, though they can trigger it like anyone else. It is the spiritual successor to Wobbuffet.

Trophy[edit]

Spewpa's trophy can be randomly obtained in both versions. In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U it is part of the Pokémon X & Pokémon Y Trophy Box.
