Does anyone know why the name of this event is 1988? I want to add Trivia to the article about why, but I can't figure out the significance of the year 1988 as it relates to this event. The only thing I found was that "Donkey Kong Classics" was released on NES that year, but other than that rather insignificant release, I've got nothing. Yea, I think that's the only connection. Though the European name has me think of something different. Anyone got any word on the Japanese name? Aidan, the College-Bound Rurouni 22:39, 30 July 2018 (EDT)
