In Super Smash Bros. 4, players have the option of buying trophies from the trophy shop (フィギュアショップ, Figure Shop). Trophies can be sold at varying prices, though discounts that lower the amount of Gold required to buy them can occur. Trophies can also be purchased by using Play Coins in the 3DS version. The shop sells six trophies at a time in the 3DS version and eight at a time in the Wii U version; the stock refreshes gradually after a certain amount of time spent in matches. The shop may sell trophies that the player already owns, which is noted by an "unlocked" sign, but does not block the player from buying duplicates.
In the Wii U version, alternate colored fighter trophies will randomly become available to purchase as the player clears Classic Mode or All Star Mode with each fighter. Unlike most random trophies, they are found exclusively at the Trophy Shop. Clearing Classic or All-Star as Olimar and Bowser Jr. will also add trophies of Alph and each of the Koopalings in the shop, respectively.
Like the Lottery and Coin Launcher modes, the Trophy Shop remains accessible after all trophies are obtained.
The music used in the Trophy Shop is also used for the 3DS version's DLC shop.
Prices[edit]
