The Scarlet Classic III was a LAN event held in Piscataway, New Jersey, on March 23rd, 2017, hosted by Rutgers University Esports and streamed by Master Hand Gaming. It was the largest collegiate LAN event on the East Coast at the time, and featured a series of esports competitions including Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Overwatch, League of Legends, DotA 2, Hearthstone, and Pokémon Sun and Moon.
