The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.

Top professional

Look, she has 2 top 64 placings at tier 1 events (CEO and Smash Con) and 5 wins over PGR members. Stop trying to downplay these achievements. Those are top pro results. You don't need to be on the PGR. Other players were promoted to top pro just for beating a single good player (Cashmere beating Tsu for example). Dimo (talk) 14:06, 20 April 2017 (EDT)

While I do agree her results are impressive I'm leveling towards IcyMist being just a Pro by definition. People like Juice.Doom have beaten other Top Pros in upsets such as Nairo and Fatality but we don't go saying this underdog is a Top Pro, because he is inconsistent, like IcyMist who has wins over Ned and Dabuz. In contrast Jonny Westside was ranked in SoCal, a strong region, and was very consistent. —S+ Tier (List) | Look what I've done!!! 16:19, 20 April 2017 (EDT)
She is Top Pro, remember she does play Samus, a low tier character, ranked 1st in pittsburgh, a pretty tough region. With wins over the ones mentioned and more, including Darkshad, Smasher1001, Raffi-X, Komota, Colinies, and Twi. I see your point about Max Ketchum, but he never achieved meaningful results at major tournaments, unlike IcyMist. IMO being the best at her character + good results at majors + good wins including a top 10 player should be enough. The wiki has a very loose definition of top pro anyway. Luhtie was promoted just for beating ZeRo. Dimo (talk) 18:53, 20 April 2017 (EDT)
  • Yeah, I know. I disagree with what the Wiki did, though, because the point here is that these results tend to be just flukes. As for IcyMist, she is inconsistent AF, like Keitaro's Falco back in 2015.
  • I've just checked the Pittsburg PR for Smash 4 and could find no notable players outside of maybe Volt. Are you sure by "a pretty tough region" you weren't referring to the Melee Scene, where Abate currently resides?
  • Maining a low tier and getting some results with it doesn't automatically make you a Top Pro, character choice is irrelevant. However, I don't think if these same results took place in a major or local it would make a difference. —S+ Tier (List) | Look what I've done!!! 18:17, 22 April 2017 (EDT)
What qualification do you have to determine that these wins over top players are "just flukes"? Why do you consistently ignore results? Her results spread isn't shiny gold like ZeRo's is, sure, but things like 33rd at CEO 2016 should not be ignored, nor should it be passed off as just inconsistent.
