::::So, for example, on the page [[Smash Conference LXIX]], (although I did have to assume they used the same palette swap for the entire tournament, since I could only see streamed matches), would my edits be unacceptable? I've watched many tourneys and play in them occasionally and I've never seen a player who makes it far in bracket to switch colors mid tourney. :::::Yeah, I think it's too visually distracting. I don't think it's a particularly worthwhile inclusion to specify the color, and the disadvantages are more significant. For example, it's harder to see at a glance how many Diddy Kongs were in top 16 since they're not only different colors from each other, but from Diddy's default. Another point I forgot to mention is that it's impossible to verify the colors on a lot of older tournaments where there isn't tons of video footage like there is these days, so it's a question of consistency across tournament pages as well.
