It includes the New York City region of New York State, as well as New Jersey and Pennsylvania. It is commonly considered to be the strongest ''Brawl'' region in North America, home to some of the world's best players, and also has a strong ''Melee'' scene. Local tournaments are frequently held here, and the region has hosted many [[national tournament]]s, such as the {{b|Apex|tournament series}} tournament series. Many ''Brawl'' players consider the local tournaments to be about as difficult as most nationals, and the region has become somewhat infamous for this.
