Smash the Record 2016 is a charity marathon which features a wide variety of events for Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, such as singles, doubles, Stamina Mode a blindfolded tournament. All of them, including singles and doubles, use a different ruleset from other Smash tournaments with many more available stages. It is the 3rd edition of the Smash the Record tournament series.
Rules
List of available stages:
- Super Smash Bros. Melee: Battlefield, Brinstar, Corneria, Great Bay, Green Greens, Jungle Japes, Mushroom Kingdom II, Mute City (singles only). Poké Floats and Rainbow Cruise are donation incentives.
- Super Smash Bros. for Wii U: Delfino Plaza, Garden of Hope, Halberd, Kalos Pokémon League, Kongo Jungle 64, Norfair, Onett, Pilotwings, Port Town Aero Dive, Mario Circuit, Mushroom Kingdom U, Smashville, Wii Fit Studio, Wooly World, Wuhu Island, Yoshi's Island. Gamer and Super Mario Maker are donation incentives.
