Star Bits: Difference between revisions

Star Bits are a common collectible item that appear in ''{{s|supermariowiki|Super Mario Galaxy}}'' and its sequel, ''{{s|supermariowiki|Super Mario Galaxy 2}}''. They can appear when Mario defeats an enemy with his [[mariowiki:Spin|Star Spin]] or hits a [[block|? Block]], and may also be found in various places in the levels themselves. They can even, though rarely, fall from the sky. Star Bits can be fired at enemies using the [[B button]] to temporarily stun them. They are also used as a sort of currency to feed {{s|supermariowiki|Hungry Luma}}s, special Lumas who demanded to eat large amounts of Star Bits, upon which they would transform into a new planet or galaxy for [[Mario]] to traverse, or give him a [[mariowiki:1-Up|1-Up]] or [[mariowiki:Life Mushroom|health-increasing mushroom]].
