There are so far 25 characters in Brawl (including Zelda's transformation into Sheik and Samus' Zero Suit. More are probably to come, including Captain Falcon, Ness, Marth and Jigglypuff. Right now, this is the list of characters.

- Sheik is a transformation of Zelda, so in retrospect, they count as 1 character.
